New features:

  • Generate your own villages at Atlas Station, the appearance and arrangement of which will be completely unique to you!
  • Share village codes to your friends if you'd like to see what theirs looks like (the village code is at the top of the pause menu when you're in a village).
  • Meet Violet Spade in your new village, who will help acquaint you with your new tools and tell you a little more about the history of this strange village.
  • Explore the world with your own personal map; mark it up with a set of pencils as you go to help keep track of tasks and express your creativity.
  • Visit the village at different times of day (using a real-world clock!) to see how the world reacts to the passage of time.
  • Collect gems in the village, which can be spent on lots of apparel for your pony.

I hope you enjoy your time in the village; and remember you can always use the forums to discuss the game / report bugs.

Patch Notes (as of Version 1.0.16):

  • The game is now supported by the itch desktop app and butler; meaning if you're using the app, patching this update and all future updates should be a much simpler and streamlined experience.
  • Fixed the issue "Players can get the water particles that normally are only supposed to spawn while swimming stuck on, so they follow them even on dry land."
  • Fixed the issue "If the map is open when you first get your pencils, it will not enable the drawing UI. You will have to first close the map, and then re-open it to see the drawing features."
  • Fixed “While in drawing mode on the map, pausing the game will not re-enable the mouse on screen.”
  • Added feature to switch gallop between a hold, and toggle input.
  • Designed a system to load and interact with text documents such as CSV files, which I use to automatically populate the credits list with Patreon supporters.
  • You can click the version number on the settings screen to be taken directly to the patch notes on itch.
  • Fixed “Moving into another acre while swimming will allow your character to walk on water.”
  • Fixed "The space between the overturned boulder and sieve at Violet's camp looks almost passable, but when approached you will find that it in fact is not."
  • Adjusted Violet Spade's final gem quest:
          • Originally, when you finished the quest, you would not be able to perform it again for exactly 24 hours.
          • Now, finishing the quest will only lock you out from repeating it until a new day – even if that's in only a few hours
        • Fixed being able to swim on land.
        • Fixed “You can perform several actions in your sleep, such as talking and picking up / dropping items.”
        • Fixed "After 'fixing' the draw UI not showing up when Violet gives you the pencils, I've introduced a new bug where it will show up when she gives you them even when the map isn't open."
        • Fixed "Introducing yourself to Violet, then closing the game before starting her first quest and immediately returning will actually skip all of her quests entirely."
        • Fixed “Cooper can fall asleep at the station, and will not respond to your pestering.”
        • Added stick breaking / snapping...
            • Bucked too many trees, and need to get rid of some sticks in the village? Just stomp on them, and they'll break.
            • This includes new graphics and sound effects.
            • You can also jump over them to avoid snapping them.
            • Sticks don't break while in the water
          • Fixed “Holding the rest button while already lying down will flash a single annoying frame of the sitting animation, before reverting back to the lying down animation.”
          • Fixed “Clicking the draw mode button while the map is open and near a pony you can talk to will initiate a conversation, but also in a broken form, since draw mode instantly disables dialogue right after. You will be required to exit draw mode and then walk away from the conversation to restart it naturally.”
          • Fixed “Talk UI button prompts still appear over your map while in draw mode, even though you can't talk while drawing.”
          • Fixed “1.0.15 introduced a bug where being in dialogue, going to your map and drawing, and then exiting straight from the map without toggling draw mode off first would break the dialogue.”
