Patch Notes - Version 1.0.20
Tales From the Herd: Prologue » Devlog
- Fixed “1.0.15 introduced a bug where being in dialogue, going to your map and drawing, and then exiting straight from the map without toggling draw mode off first would break the dialogue.”
- Other ponies (like Violet) can no longer break the sticks you’re holding in your mouth.
- Corrected the layering issue with drawing lines.
- Corrected talk interact prompt UI not sorting right over the map.
- Revamped how erasing works on the map:
- Drawing is now bound to LMB by default, and erasing RMB.
- While erase mode is toggled on, your cursor changes to an X, and any line you mouse over will become highlighted.
- Highlighted lines like this can now be erased when clicking LMB in erase mode.
- You can also drag the mouse, erasing multiple lines at a time.
- The eraser still only erases lines of the color you currently have selected.
- Drawing is now bound to LMB by default, and erasing RMB.
While it's unlikely the game will ever receive a full rasterized pixel based painting system like you'd expect in MS Paint or Photoshop (trust me, I've tried), I do think this new system is a great compromise, and will help a lot with allowing more precision and freedom for erasing map art.
